Features

Everything on this page works in the product today.

Four capabilities carry the product, and a longer inventory sits behind them. If something is not listed here, it is not in Mobility yet.

Locking and kiosk

Lock a device to its job

A device can be locked so it only runs the apps the business chose. No settings, no browser, no app store, no games. The staff member sees a home screen with three icons on it because those are the three things they need.

  • Kiosk home screen carrying the customer's own branding
  • Optional staff sign-in with roles, and offline sign-in when there is no signal
  • Automatic sign-out when the device is docked or after a set period
  • Minimum-battery rules, so a handset below charge cannot start a shift
  • Automatic reinstall if a user manages to remove an app

Remote support

Fix it without going there

Take remote control of the screen, stream the device's live logs, and browse its files from the console. This is the feature that saves the most money, because the alternative is a site visit.

  • Remote control of the screen, with configurable consent and session banners
  • Live device logs streamed to the console
  • Remote file manager to browse, pull and push files
  • Idle and maximum session limits, with a full session audit
  • Whether support can take control at all is set in the agent config
Location and zones

Know where everything is

Draw a zone on a map and devices are watched against it from then on. Zones can also decide which apps a device offers depending on where it is.

  • Live position for every device, plus location history and trails
  • Alerts when a device leaves a zone it should be in, or enters one it should not
  • Zone activity and dwell reporting, for how long devices actually spend on site
  • Stale-location detection, for a device still reporting in but no longer locating

Every session records who started it, which device it touched, whether consent was given, and how long it lasted.

Audit

Prove it afterwards

Everything is recorded and everything is exportable. When an auditor asks who had access to what and when, the answer is a CSV rather than a conversation.

  • Who took remote control, of which device, and for how long
  • Who moved which devices between device groups
  • Every restart, every unenrol, with the delivery outcome of each command
  • Every zone crossing and every kiosk sign-in
The full inventory

The rest of it, in one list.

This is the whole product, not a highlight reel. Read it as a checklist.

Device management

Enrolment by QR, device groups in a tree, bulk import by serial, full hardware and state detail, presence tracking across online, in service, missing and never checked in, device naming, cloning a device's setup, moving devices between groups, unenrolment.

Apps and packages

A private package library with versions, silent install and update, per-app permission grants, managed app configuration pushed into an app, installed-app inventory per device, install-failure reporting with reasons, and web apps built from a URL so an internal tool behaves like a native app.

Policies

Around 70 device controls, versioned and inherited down the group tree, each with an explanation and the Android version it requires. Covers installs and uninstalls, camera and screenshots, USB and file transfer, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, network and VPN, screen lock and password rules, factory reset protection, developer options, CA certificates, managed Wi-Fi networks and APN configuration.

Alerts

Rules set per device group for zone crossings, drop detection, battery and storage, delivered in the console and by email, with per-type throttling so one noisy device cannot bury the rest, and a notification centre holding the history.

Fleet operations

Bulk restart, bulk message and bulk unenrol across devices selected at scale, with each device acknowledging in real time. Command history with delivery outcome, lost mode with remote lock, device unlock passwords, and automatic overnight restart.

Administration

Console users, roles with granular permissions, device-group scoping per role so a regional manager sees only their own sites, global search across the workspace, per-user console preferences, workspace settings for email, notifications, retention, remote control and push, and storage and bandwidth usage month by month.

Agent config

What the device itself looks and behaves like: which apps appear on the kiosk home screen, whether staff sign in, how often the device checks in, whether it reports location, when it restarts overnight, and whether support can take control.

Dashboard

Thirty widgets arranged by dragging, so each person's landing screen is their own. Fleet status, alerts, a live map, app failures, battery, storage, data used and trends over time. Live figures refresh in seconds while daily ones do not waste effort re-checking.
